Hey, this is my first post ^^ and I just got a photobucket account and had the irrepresible urge to scan things >.> so! I scanned in some Yomi from the July issue of Shoxx. I haven't seen this scans around, I don't think, and I thought they were really artistic and interesting ^_~ (they're kinda large too, sorry)
* Welcome to Jrock Scans. This is a community for the sole purpose of sharing scanned images of Japanese Rock. Whether it be tour pamphlets, magazines, CD booklets, postcards, whatever.
* Posts in this community are moderated, this is to avoid off-topic posts and the like. 90% of posts are usually accepted. Keep in mind that, when you post, it will not show up right away, because one of the moderators needs to accept it first.
oo1; Please post only JROCK scans, no jpop, kpop, krock, etc. Indies, Major, Visual Kei, non-Visual, as long as they are rock and from Japan.
oo2; Everything must be scanned by the original poster. Do not post scans that you did not do yourself. Do not post camera photos, screen captures, etc.
oo3; All posts must be made to the main community, for ease of archival. No fake-cuts to other communities/websites/personal ljs.
oo4; Be grateful for the submissions and be respectful, please. If you cause any trouble, you will get one warning, but after that, you're banned.
oo5; When you post scans, please specify what magazine, month, and issue/volume they are from, this is simply so we can update the directory more efficiently.
oo6; Here is what is absolutely required when requesting scans:
Check the directory and two or three pages of main community, first. If you post saying "I didn't check to see if anyone else requested this!" and it's on the main page, it only annoys.
"request" in the subject line
The name of the artist
A specific magazine and volume/date (with a maximum of four total magazines) If any of the key things are missing your post will be rejected. Here are some examples of posts that will get rejected: "Any scans of the band ___ please!" "I need a larger version of this image, but I don't know the magazine!"
oo7; Don’t forget to check the directory before posting any requests! If the scans are in the directory, but the links don’t work, contact the person who posted and if they don’t respond after some time, you can make a post in the community requesting them.
oo8; If someone requests something, please make a new post to fulfill the requests (as long as you scanned the images), because if you do not, then they cannot be archived in the directory.
oo9; NO DIRECT LINKING anyone's scans. Such as: [img src="IMAGE LINK"], [a href="IMAGE LINK"] or http://www.IMAGEURL.com, it leeches bandwidth. If you want to link to someone else's scans, provide a link to their post or upload the scans to your server. There are many places where you can upload them yourself, such as imageshack.us, photobucket.com, tinyurl.com...
o1o; Do not just post downloads to your scans. Please post at least several of the images on an image host. However you are welcome to include a download of your scans to make saving scans easier.
o11; Regarding Purple SKY magazine: We will only allow scans of promo images from Purple SKY in this community. If articles are included amongst the scans, it will be denied. We have been appointed by the Clear Phoenix Media LLC copyright to prevent the articles from being posted. Regarding ASKEW magazine: We will only allow scans of their magazine submitted by their staff. Any other scans will be denied.
